Our Journey Through, Inc. (OJT) is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) based in Montgomery County, Silver Spring, Maryland. OJT qualifies under the IRC Section.
Our mission is to provide programs to support single mothers and teach them to gain greater self-sufficiency, while residing in a healthy, and empowering environment. One critical outcome of our life skills programs and service offerings is that these young parents will learn to improve and sustainably increase the quality of life for themselves and their family. The plans of OJT also include providing a progressive, independently run day care facility in the same location that these families would live.
Our Services
Affordable housing in collaboration with other non-profits and government agencies
In collaboration with The Housing Choice Voucher Program which is a federally-funded, locally administered rental assistance program that subsidizes the rent of lower-income families and safe housing in the private market.

Day Care Provider to ensure that participants have access to affordable, convenient and safe child care
Day Care will specialize in the construction of children from ages 6 months to 5 years old in accordance with Montessori philosophy and curriculum.
